2. Course Objectives

• Help students master basic Korean communication, serving common situations in daily life such as shopping, traveling, medical examination, and social interaction.
• Provide knowledge about Korean culture and customs to help immigrants easily integrate and better understand the country and its people.
• Support students in building a solid Korean language foundation to develop higher skills or pursue other academic and career goals.

3. Course content

• Basic Korean communication: Learn how to greet, talk about everyday topics, shop, order and common communication situations.
• Korean in the family: Instructions on how to communicate in the family, especially in relationships between husband and wife, children and relatives.
• Korean for work: Support students to develop language appropriate for the working environment.
• Korean cultural: Provides knowledge about Korean customs, festivals and etiquette.
